One line of code, an address with your name

Integration takes a few hours of development. The journey lives at Coucou, on your subdomain; your pages don’t change.

Five steps, done once

  1. An address with your name

One DNS record, for example ads.yoursite.com. The HTTPS certificate is automatic.

  2. The script on your listings

One tag in your listing template. The button shows in your colours.

  3. A token signed by your server

It identifies the advertiser and the listing. Signed with your key, valid for ten minutes.

  4. Reading your listings

Coucou reads the listing’s title, price, photos and status from an address you expose.

  5. Two optional notifications

Listing sold or withdrawn: its ad stops. Contact received: it counts in the results.

The code, plainly

<!-- In your listing template -->
<div id="coucou-ads"></div>
<script src="https://ads.yoursite.com/widget/sdk.js" async
data-token="{{ token signed by your server }}"
        data-target="#coucou-ads"></script>

Three presentations, or your own button

Window

Centred on screen, full screen on mobile.

Drawer

Slides in from the right, the page stays visible.

Inline

Inside a section, its height follows the content.

Your button

Keep your own button and call CoucouAds.open().

Your developers’ questions

An iframe, really?

The button is drawn in your page, with your font. Only the journey opens in a frame: card payment stays isolated from your site, and the journey improves without you redeploying.

Any SEO impact?

None. The frame loads only on click, in the signed-in advertiser’s area, and the script is a few deferred kilobytes.

What about cookies and Safari?

The journey runs on your own subdomain: sessions work everywhere, Safari included.

What does Coucou see of my users?

What the token carries: the advertiser’s id, name and e-mail, and the listing. Nothing about your visitors, no access to your cookies.

And without an iframe?

React components and an API are planned for teams who want their own interface. Payment will stay in Stripe’s secure frame.

Let’s see what it would look like on your site.

We’ll show you the button in your colours, with your listings, in thirty minutes.
